Apprenticeship Curriculum
Our 12-week program combines hands-on experience with collaborative learning across 20+ trades, technologies, and leadership domains. Below is the week-by-week structure.
Weeks 1–2: Builder Crash Course
In the first two weeks, you’ll build a Seed Eco-Home and go hands-on in over 20 trades using our Rapid Learning Facility. Each day features rapid prototyping exercises with kitted lessons in real tools and materials.
- Framing, sheathing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC
- Earthworks, hardscaping, landscaping, tree planting
- Heat pump, solar installation, insulation, drywall
- Concrete, finish carpentry, trim, windows/doors, flooring
Weeks 3–12: Deep Generalist Development
These 10 weeks develop your ability to design, build, and lead in open-source infrastructure projects. You’ll engage in team-based machine builds, fabrication, electronics, and high-level collaboration training.
